Built for the developer document workflow.

No separate workspace. Preview follows the IDE's tabs, theme, language, and file lifecycle.

01

View in place

Open DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, and more from the file tree, keeping code and documents in the same context.

02

Built-in reading tools

Navigate pages or sheets, zoom, search, select text, and follow safe links where supported.

03

Stay current with file changes

Refresh safely when the source file is replaced or changed so stale content does not remain visible.

04

Safe, read-only viewing

Active content such as macros never runs; isolated object failures preserve other usable pages where possible and produce diagnostics.

Supported formats

One extension for everyday and specialist documents.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, OpenDocument, Apple Pages / Numbers / Keynote, WPS Office, XPS, RTF, and CSV. Related templates and macro-enabled files open read-only, and active content never executes.

Download and install.

No extra runtime or document-conversion service is required. Install the plugin, then open a supported file normally.
