Frequently asked questions

Does DocViewKit upload documents to a server?

No. Parsing and rendering happen inside the browser or WebView. Only diagnostics you explicitly submit are sent to us; source files are never uploaded automatically.

How is this different from an online Office suite?

DocViewKit is a read-only, embeddable, local Viewer SDK. It does not provide editing, saving, or collaboration, and it does not require a full Office server deployment.

Which formats does the free version support?

The free Viewer requires no license, supports every currently available file format, and retains DocViewKit Free branding in the status bar.

How do I buy a commercial license?
